Right Now I'm Feeling Amazing

Hey Dad. Thank you for the message. I don't have much time left. So this will be quick. I am so glad that Grandma is doing good! I love her so much and really hope she is still there when I get back. It was one of the hardest things of my life to say good bye to her last wednesday when I knew that it could possibly be the last time I see her. And yes you are more than welcome to wear my Boston jersey. It will fit you better
than it does me. So go for it. Everybody from Allstate is going to be envious of you and your amazing jersey. I am doing so good today. I went to the temple and I just love the temple so much. It is amazing! I get the best feelings in the world there. And about Trevor. So the last two or three days I have had this really big feeling that Trevor was going to be in my zone. Which means that he would live on the same floor as me
and that we would do pretty much everything together. Other than class. So as soon as I got out of the temple I changed as fast as I could knowing that the new missionaries would be leaving for their first
meeting very soon. So I practicly ran back to my residence hall. I ran inside and ran straight to the new elders hall.... and trevor was not ther. NOT! He totally was. He lives two doors down from me. It is going to be so amazing to have him right there with me. He understands me and
he is definetly somebody that I can talk to about anything so it will be great. The food here is not good at all. I am taking my medicine so good. YOu would be so proud of me! I have not missed a day. I have been eating the food trying to just get used to nasty food. I have actually
lost 10 pounds though. Because of how bad my head ache was I was throwing up a lot. I really do look like an ethiopian now. I know that you wil get this letter very soon. But if you email me back I will not be able to get it tell next Wednesday. So please use dearelder.com Mom
used it today and it worked out very good! I love you so much! You are the most amazing dad in the world and I am so glad that you are my dad!
Thank you for the love and support. Oh yeah and right now I am feeling amazing. Seeing Trevor and getting a couple of letters and emails today really lifted my spirits! So I hope to get one of those daerelder.com letters from you today or tomorrow. I love you have a great day

Wow One Week Down

Okay wow. Sorry I had been writing ya'll a letter for 16 minutes then it just booted me right off of the computer. I got permission for a new half an hour of email so that is good. I hope all is going well at home. What is new? anything? How is grandma doing? I hope she is doing very well and that she is loving being home once again. Please let her know how much I love her and miss her and I hope she gets feeling better. Also can you please get me grandma Anderson and grandma and grandpa Apostol's addresses? I forgot to get those and have two letters to send to them so please get me those today.

So wow one week down. It kind of seems crazy to me that I have been here a week already. The first 4 days were the longest days of my life, but I learned a lot about myself. I learned to trust in the lord. I also learned how important prayer really is. God does hear and answer our prayers.

So I will tell you a little bit about my companion first of all. His name is Elder Wolfley, he is from Star Valley, Wyoming. He weights 300lbs and had to lose 200lbs to come on a mission. Yeah he is a big boy. We have nothing in common at all. He loves video games and I hate them. I love sports and he hates them, but I love him. He is an amazing companion, he has taught me so much. We have pretty much been learning the first lesson so far. I have taught it 4 times now and it is getting better and better everytime.

Thank you everybody for your love and support and for your prayers in my behalf. Today I am starting to finally fill a little bit better. I was pretty close to coming home a couple of days ago. I was feeling not good at all. I had probably the worst head ache I have ever had in my life. I couldn't concentrate on anything, it was just bad. I got a priesthood blessing from a couple of elders in my district and it helped so much. The power of the priesthood is real. I also went to the hospital and got an mri on monday. It came back that the brain itself was not bleeding, but that my sinus was really bad. I have a really bad sinus infection that they could see on the mri. The dr here is pretty sure that's what was causing the head aches to be so bad, but i am starting to feel better. He has me on lots of drugs so that is nice, but hard at the same time because I am always tired now, but don't worry about me. I am doing fine.

Thank you everybody for the different letters and packages I received this week. You don't realize how much it means to get a letter in the mail until you get them in the mtc. You will be feeling really down on yourself then you will go to the mailroom to pick up mail and there are a couple of letters for you and it makes me cry everytime I read them. So keep sending them. I love them and love to hear how you all are.

I am the district leader. Pretty much I am just the leader and in charge of my district. I have 11 other elders in my district. We have grown so close to each other over the last week and I love all of them.

Well I hope to hear from all of you today.
Melissa, Tommy, Suzy there are letters on the way.

Suzy and Melissa thank you for the packages. you both obviously know me really well to send me two of my favorite things in the world.

Thank you everybody for your love and support
oh and mom yes I want Alma 26:12 as my plaque

I love you guys and miss you horribly, but I am here to serve the lord and I love it!
Have a great day

For in His strength I can do all things:

Reed told me prior to his entering the MTC that he didn't think there was any way possible that he would make it an entire 2 years without visiting the Dr's Office.

Well Reed must have some sort of sixth sense, because Monday we got a call from the doctor's at the MTC needing a little bit of information prior to Reed being sent to the hospital for an MRI. The nurse reassured mom that they were doing it more out of precaution (because of his history) and that they thought he had a terrible sinus infection which was aggravating the headache and overall well being of Elder Anderson.

Although it is never fun to get news such as this from the MTC, Mark and I both felt peace and felt that no news was good news.

Later that evening the phone rang and it was Elder Anderson, his Branch President wanted him to call and reassure us that all was well. Although he sounded like he had a bad cold, his spirit was high. He said over and over how much he has changed and how much his testimony has grown and how much he loves and misses us. Mark asked him if he felt like his body could handle the stress of a mission and he emphatically said YES! Especially after last night, read Alma 26.

What a neat Family Home Evening we had studying Alma 26.

1st Letter From Elder Anderson

Dear Family,
I hope everything is going great at home! I have just a few minutes of off time so I decided to write you guys today. Today I have had a Great Day. I got out of the meeting that I was in with you guys and came and found my residence hall (apartment) I then got everything unpacked and situated things how I wanted. My companion got here about two hours later his name is Elder Wolfley, He is from Star Valley Wyoming. Probably is 5'10" and weighs close to 300 pounds. (BIG BOY) He is an interesting guy, doesn't talk hardly at all, but that's okay. I still love him. I live right next to Elder Frederickson-he is doing awesome and loving his mission! I also saw Elder Cowley who is companions with another one of my friends from Riverton, Elder Reed. Well I hope all is going well. I love you guys!
Love, Elder Anderson
